Little Rock, AR — March 18, 2025 — Divine Mercy Health Center (DMHC) is excited to announce that it has been awarded a generous grant of $1,800 from the Henry Schein Cares Foundation. This in-kind donation will directly support the Mobile Medical Clinic, a key initiative that provides essential healthcare services to vulnerable populations in Central Arkansas.

The donation includes vital medical and dental supplies, which will be used to offer free health screenings, medical consultations, and educational resources to underserved communities. The mobile clinic, which operates throughout the region, focuses on removing social and economic barriers to healthcare access, providing care to individuals who might otherwise go without essential services.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Henry Schein Cares Foundation for their generous donation,” said Dr. Lee Wilbur, co-founder of Divine Mercy Health Center. “This grant will allow us to continue offering critical healthcare services and expand our outreach to even more individuals who need it most.”

The donated supplies, valued at $1,751.98, will enhance the mobile clinic’s ability to provide comprehensive care. Items include dental kits for both adults and children, medical screening tools such as blood pressure cuffs, glucose meters, and essential disposable items needed for both medical and dental screenings. These resources are critical to ensuring that DMHC’s volunteers can provide not only immediate treatment but also long-term health education to local residents.

“This grant from the Henry Schein Cares Foundation is vital to our mission of improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations,” said Lori Wilbur, co-founder of Divine Mercy Health Center. “Their support will help us offer more effective screenings, empower patients with knowledge, and ultimately help improve their overall well-being.”

In addition to supporting healthcare services, the grant also provides resources to further the educational efforts of the clinic, teaching individuals how to better manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and oral health issues.
