Little Rock, AR – January 2, 2025 – Divine Mercy Health Center is excited to announce that its first brick-and-mortar clinic is now open, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the Little Rock community. This clinic marks a significant milestone in the center’s ongoing mission to offer compassionate, high-quality care in a faith-based environment while fostering health and wellness for individuals and families in need.
The new clinic — located at 6221 Colonel Glenn Road, Suite B in Little Rock, on the southeast corner of the Mosaic Church building — will serve as a dedicated facility offering a wide range of medical services, including primary care, preventive services, specialty care, and more for low-income and vulnerable patients. The clinic is open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Patients with no insurance hoping to make a single visit will only need to pay $75 for a primary care visit, one set of blood tests, one mental health evaluation and ongoing care coordination.
- Patients with insurance will receive one primary care visit, one set of blood tests, one mental health evaluation and ongoing care coordination for the cost of their co-pay plus their deductible.
- Patients hoping to make DMHC their primary care physician can pay either $30/month or $300/year. This membership includes six primary care visits a year, four sets of blood tests, a mental health evaluation, and ongoing care coordination.
“We want paying for your healthcare to be as simple as a gym membership,” said emergency physician and Co-Founder Dr. Lee Wilbur. “By making our medical services this affordable and by offering a host of payment options, we are making healthcare accessible to people who would only find themselves receiving expensive healthcare in emergency situations. But now, whole families can come to our clinic and receive the help they need for a fraction of what they would pay anywhere else.”
“At a time when an emergency room visit costs $2,000 and an urgent care visit costs $175 per visit, DMHC is designed to give you a wide array of services for a fraction of the cost. You can buy a membership for yourself, or give someone else the gift of health with a year-long subscription,” Dr. Wilbur said.
“We are thrilled to take this step forward in our mission to serve the people of Little Rock,” said Lori Wilbur, physical therapist and Co-Founder of Divine Mercy Health Center. “This clinic represents not only an expansion of our services but a deeper commitment to the health and well-being of our community. We are excited to offer a new, physical location where patients can receive the care they need in a supportive and compassionate setting.”
The clinic will offer a variety of services including:
- Primary Care: Routine health exams, management of chronic conditions, vaccinations, and more.
- Specialty Services: Referrals for specialist consultations, diagnostic testing, and advanced care.
- Addiction and Peer Support Recovery Services: Counseling and support to recover from substance abuse.
- Preventive Care: Health screenings, wellness checks, and advice to prevent future health complications.
- Mental Health Services: Counseling and support for mental and emotional well-being.
- Spiritual Care: Support through a faith-based approach to healing, including prayer and pastoral care.
The clinic is staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, specialists, social workers, chaplains and spiritual directors, and mental health experts, all committed to providing holistic, patient-centered care.
Divine Mercy Health Center is deeply committed to serving the underserved and promoting a culture of respect, compassion, and dignity for every patient. With the opening of this new facility, the center aims to make healthcare more accessible and integrated with the values that foster physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
